Tour Plan

Schedule: 9:00h

Embark on a journey of discovery as we explore the charming towns of Évora and Monsaraz. Our adventure starts at the lively Praça Grande or Giraldo, a bustling political, religious, and commercial hub. We will then immerse ourselves in the area’s rich history by visiting the awe-inspiring Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Church of St. Francis, with the option to delve deeper into the Chapel of Bones.

Our exploration continues as we marvel at the impressive Roman Temple of Diana, dedicated to imperial worship. Our journey would not be complete without taking a moment to appreciate the city museum’s stunning historical tiles featuring classical authors and visiting the magnificent Espírito Santo College, now transformed into a University.

Monsaraz offers a medieval experience, complete with a castle, watchtower, pillory, and old Audience Palaces, boasting a one-of-a-kind artistic heritage: the 15th-century fresco of the “Good and Bad Judge.” We’ll then take in the breathtaking sights of Europe’s largest artificial lake and the country’s most significant water reserve. As we return to Lisbon, we’ll stop at the Esporão estate or in S. Pedro do Corval, leaving you with unforgettable memories of our trip.
